INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP FINALIZATION MEETING

Banda Aceh. A number of implementing committees for the Health Polytechnic of the Aceh Ministry of Health Thursday (01/12/2022) held a meeting finalizing preparations for the International Workshop which will be held from 5 to 9 December 2022 which will take place at the 3rd Floor Auditorium of the Poltekkes Directorate of the Aceh Ministry of Health on Soekarno-Hatta Street, Lagang Village, Darul Imarah Subdistrict, Aceh Besar District. The coordination meeting was chaired by Dr. Abdurrahman, S.Kp, M.Pd as the Governor Board, as well as Deputy Director of Administration, General Affairs, and Staffing of the Aceh Ministry of Health Polytechnic who was attended. In his direction, Pak Rahman, who is also the Chairman of the DPW PPNI Aceh Province, invites all those involved in the committee to all out exert their energy, mind, and time to make the event a success, where this time the Poltekkes is the host by prioritizing an attitude of serving sincerely and full of courtesy.


Also present was the Head of the Department of Nursing as well as Quality Control, Dr. Dewi Marianthi, S.Kp, M.Kep. Sp.Mat who conveyed the progress of the preparation for the activity involving 4 countries and 8 universities carrying the theme "Nursing Research, Research Methods and Developmental Work" was included in the Work Package (WP) 2.3.1 of the Capacity Building In Nursing Education In Indonesia project (CABNEI) which is funded by The Erasmus+ Program of The European Union which has poured its Euros from early 2021 to mid-2023.


According to Dr. Hermansyah SKM MPH as the Change Agents Coordinator, the implementation of this workshop was attended by 8 professors from Scandinavian countries. They are Birthe Thorø, Lea Deichmann Nielsen, and Mette Ruhlmann from University College South (UC Syd) Denmark; Desirée Burenlind, and Johanna Svärd from Karlstad University (KAU) Sweden; Margret Lepp, Randi Elisabeth Martinsen, and Brian David Unis from Inland Norway University of Applied Sciences (INN) Norway.


Participants in this workshop are Nurse Educators totaling 26 people consisting of 8 lecturers from the USK Faculty of Nursing, 3 people from the Faculty of Public Health UNMUHA, 5 people from the Ibnu Sina Nursing Academy in Sabang City, and 10 people from the Poltekkes Kemenkes Aceh. The expected end result of this activity is an increase in the knowledge and abilities of lecturers in research nursing , method study and its development .


The workshop which focuses on Qualitative Research is planned to last for 5 days starting from 08.30 to 16.30 Indonesian Time using the Lecture, Question and Answer, Workgroup, Presentation and Reflection methods which will be facilitated by 8 Change Agents from 4 health education institutions in Aceh Province.
