INN Participation at the ICN Congress in Helsinki, 9–13 June 2025

During week 24, Professor Jan Nilsson is representing the Faculty of Social and Health Sciences, Section for Advanced Nursing, University of Inland Norway (INN) at the International Council of Nurses’ (ICN) biennial congress, held this year in Helsinki. The 2025 theme, “Nursing Power to Change the World,” emphasizes the vital role of nurses in shaping the future of healthcare.


The congress brings together more than 7,000 nurses from across the globe to explore and discuss research on key topics such as leadership, sustainable development, global health, and well-being.


As part of the program, the project Capacity Building in Nursing Education in Indonesia (CABNEI) was presented, highlighting international collaboration and efforts to strengthen nursing education in a global context. The CABNEI project was co-funded by the Erasmus+ Program of the European Union.
